LARPA hosted California’s first Pace Match Play Tournament at RGL today with the help of Jonathan Soon (Slamdown Pinball) and David (SGV League @ Arrow Lodge).
To celebrate the launch of Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye, we treated players to the thrill of an Owlbear chase: the key was not to be the slowest (i.e., not to end up with the lowest score) or you’d be “eaten” by the Owlbear. You didn’t have to be fastest—just not the slowest—to avoid Owlbear death.
The top 8 players earned prize currency, and those on the podium received special trophies.
