Thank you to everyone that was a part of the BBK $150 Entry 8-Ball Open presented by Raven Cues that went down at Shooters Riverside this past weekend! When all was said and done we had 57 players come together for the $2,000 added battle royale. What was originally scheduled to be a two-day tournament ended up concluding in one day, with matches staring at 11am and the finals concluding around 12:30am.
The field consisted of players with Fargo ratings ranging from 360 to 783, with the average Fargo of the field being 593. Despite the average being under 600, 30 of the 57 players had ratings of 600 or higher, 6 of which were in the 700s. And although there were some standout Fargo favorites, the short races and alternate break format allowed for a significant amount of upsets (29) and hill/hill matches (21).

Congratulations to all our winners! Shoutout to Jeremy Long for going a perfect 7-0 to snap off the tournament! Jeremy won 80% of the racks he played and had an effective rating of 840 for this tournament 🤯 Also, a huge shoutout to our runner up, Sean Lane! Sean single-handedly eliminated the Spanish professional Francisco Diaz-Pizarro (783), defeating him 5-4 on the winners side and again 4-2 on the B side to meet Jeremy in the finals! 💪 an impressive showing from Sean, whose only losses were to Jeremy! Whether a spectator or player, we hope everyone enjoyed the tournament! That being said, we plan to make the 8-Ball Open an annual event! Thanks everyone for tuning in 👑
