We are so proud to Introduce our awesome 8th grader, Amayzee. Amayzee has been in RCT for 8 years and has done 14 shows. One of her favorite memories of from RCT is reuniting with friends after COVID. Her favorite RCT role was Ladahlord in James and the Giant Peach. A song that she just could not get out of her head is True Blood Brothers from Peter Pan Jr. The IB program at North is what's coming next for Amayzee.
We have been so lucky to watch Amayzee grow into the awesome performer that she is today, and can't wait to watch as she shines in High School. Watching her take her final bow with RCT as Gertrude in Suessical was bittersweet.

Last night Riverside Children’s Theater spent an evening at The Sunrise Rotary Club’s annual Black Tie Bingo Gala. An amazing time was had by all, and the RCT kids performing on behalf of our organization-under the direction of Mr. EJ-showcased their talents well (Georgianna Whitten, Oliver Cash, Sofia Lopez, Sydney Barlett, and Rowan Gilstrap). We are quite proud of them! Representatives from our group included Co-Presidents Michelle Cummins and Megan Whitten, current and former board members Jon Cross (Curriculum Chair), Tammy Cash (Grants Chair) and Bertha Perez (former Membership Chair), and RCT director and teacher EJ Marquez. RCT was one of three non-profit performing arts programs within the Riverside community, to be sponsored by the benefit event. We are truly grateful for the support.

Today is our final show for . We are so proud of every single person involved in making this show so perfect!
Thank you to the director/choreographer, the music director, our wonderful producer and her hardworking stage manager, alumni helpers and techs, the costumers, the parents, the Thumbsmashers for the AMAZING set, Eden Lutheran, .theatre, all our awesome kiddos and last but certainly not least our beloved makeup leads Miss. Lisa the Make-up Queen and Miss. Melissa for making all our actors shine on stage!!
We wouldn't be able to do a show without each and every one of you!

On Wednesday, March the 8th, while Seussical is dark, we are invited to take a brief hiatus from the Jungle of Nool and be whisked away instead to Kansas! On this evening, the cast of Riverside Community Players’ OZ, will perform an exclusive show just for Riverside Children’s Theatre. Even better is the fact that this is a fundraiser for our beloved organization, and every penny of the proceeds goes to us. A family/friends affair out at the theater-in-the-round, taking pleasure in our shared love of the arts, and fully profiting from this fun night out? What a win-win! We truly hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to support two different theater companies, and join us at this outing.
Get a first hand look at a fun retelling of how Frank L. Baum was inspired to write the story of Dorothy and her trip to the Emerald City. This show is a delight and has it all! Humor, high energy, loveable characters, magic, and special effects!

And they're off!! A group of twelve 8th graders and two 7th graders are on their way to Sacramento for the . We are so very excited and proud of this group.
