August dump 💐🪷🌳🫁🫀✨

It was my last month at home before my journey in Sevilla begins. It was filled with overwhelming feelings of gratitude, love, support, grief and the beauty of connecting with others. Even though it was difficult, I was reminded of the resilience I, we, carry within. We can do hard things. What an unforgettable time of my life to transition me into this next chapter. So much in life changes, and some things remain the same. Swipe to the end for a little throwback 🙂‍↔️

I have everything I need for Spain. Like… everything 🥲🇪🇸

It’s wild watching all the little pieces fall into place after spending so much time figuring out how I was going to make this happen

There’s something really special about watching a “someday” slowly turn into a plan, and then realizing that plan is now your actual life

My dreams are happening. Life is good. Spain, I’ll see you very soon 🌻

Lester Devoe famously built guitars for 34 years. Nearly every top flamenco guitarist either has one (or a few) of his guitars, performed/recorded with his guitars, or is still trying to buy one!

Thanks to my Maestro Molina, I had the honor of meeting him and playing for him more than 10 years ago.

He has so many epic stories of some of the most important decades of flamenco. The 80s, 90s and 2000s.

I sunk into gratitude seeing him. Still smiling, sharing stories, talking shop, asking questions and learning.

Seeing him also made me realize how quickly time goes by. How quickly and at times how drastically things can change.

Sometimes the folks going through the most are the ones that bring out so much light in others. I don’t know how they do that. God I suppose.

I invite you to find something to be grateful for. There is *always* something.
