Summer has a way of slowing things down just enough for new ideas to show up.

Take the sketchbook to the park. Paint outside. Experiment with a new color palette. Photograph the light at golden hour. Start the piece you’ve been thinking about for months.

Not every work of art needs to be finished this season. Sometimes summer is simply about noticing more, exploring more, and creating more.

We’d love to see what our artists are working on this summer. Tag the Ripon Arts Guild in your studio sessions, plein air adventures, messy paint tables, and finished pieces so we can celebrate your creativity with the community.

Our first Art in the Park event was so inspiring that we are ready to pack our brushes and create again! Join us at Stouffer Park in Ripon on 4/11. We’ll be starting early at 8am to stay as cool as we can. Bring a chair, your supplies and a sun hat or shade. 🎨☀️🕶️
