So apparently She Craftswell has been grounded by Facebook since 2023 and nobody bothered to tell me. 😂🤦‍♀️

Today I went down an absolutely ridiculous Meta rabbit hole trying to figure out why I couldn’t run an ad for my business.

And here’s my favorite part:

I PAY Meta every single month to be Meta Verified. You know… verified. As in, presumably:

“Yep. That’s her. We checked.” ✅😂

And yet today I still had to send them pictures of the front AND back of my ID to prove that I am, in fact…

✨ the same person they’ve been charging every month for being verified. ✨

Make it make sense. 😂

Meanwhile, Instagram says I’m in perfect standing. Facebook says I’ve apparently been too dangerous to advertise since January 2023. My ad account says I’ve had ZERO rejected ads.

And Meta support is basically like:

👁️👄👁️
“Please prove you exist.”

Sir.

YOU HAVE BEEN BILLING ME. 😂😂😂

Anyway… if you see She Craftswell suddenly popping up everywhere after this, just know I successfully convinced the robots that I am a real human being who would simply like to sell y’all some cute things.

I’m the maker behind She Craftswell — which means I’m the person designing, pressing, engraving, packaging, answering messages, buying entirely too many craft supplies and occasionally staring at a project wondering why I thought it would be “quick.” 😂

Around here you’ll find personalized gifts, tumblers, laser-engraved goodies, sublimation, vinyl and whatever else I decide I absolutely have to learn how to make.

The world feels a little less sparkly today. 💔✨

Dolly Parton was so much more than rhinestones, big hair and one of the most recognizable voices in country music. She was a songwriter, a storyteller, a dreamer, a businesswoman, a giver—and living proof that where you come from never has to determine how far you can go.

She came from humble beginnings in the mountains of Tennessee and built a life bigger than she could have ever imagined, all while holding tightly to who she was. She never made herself smaller to make other people comfortable. She wore the rhinestones. She dreamed the enormous dreams. She worked hard. She laughed at herself. She loved people. And when success came, she used it to lift others with her. 🤍

As a maker and a woman who believes there is something incredibly special about taking an idea in your head and turning it into something real, I think there is a beautiful lesson in the life Dolly lived:

Create the thing. Chase the dream. Wear the glitter. Be kind. Give when you can. And never be afraid to take up a little space in this world.

Because someday, what remains isn’t how much we accomplished or how perfectly we did it.

It’s what we created.
It’s who we encouraged.

Last week I got to make this sweatshirt for my niece to wear for her wedding day — and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

There’s something so much fun about making personalized pieces for life’s big moments, but it hits a little differently when you’re making one for someone you love. 🥹

And can we talk about how CUTE she looked wearing it?! The purple sweatshirt, the newlywed glow, and officially getting to wear that new last name — perfection. 💜

Congratulations again to the new Mr. & Mrs. Ross! 🥂💍 It was such a beautiful day and we wish them the best at this beginning of the next chapter together.

🏐 A little volleyball project hit the craft room this week! 🖤💛

Alaina needed a little something special to wear while supporting her team, so of course we had to make her an official TEAM MANAGER shirt! 🙌

Her name on the front, volleyball design front and center, and TEAM MANAGER across the back — and judging by these pictures, she was pretty happy with how it turned out. 😂💪

This one was so much fun to make that we’re not done yet! Another shirt is already planned, along with a few practice shirts for her that I’ll be working on this coming week. 🏐

Today’s mission: volleyball shirts for my niece. 🏐💛

Step one: spend approximately 30 minutes excavating my craft room just to locate the desk. 😂🤦‍♀️

Apparently Past Me decided, “We’ll deal with this later,” and Present Me would just like to have a WORD with her. 😂

For those who don’t know, I’ve been pretty sick on and off over the last year, and I’m currently recovering from surgery. Unfortunately, that meant She Craftswell—and clearly this poor craft room—had to take a bit of a backseat.

But I’m already feeling SO much better, and I’m really hopeful that I’m finally on my way back to feeling like myself again. ❤️ I’ve still got some healing to do and I’m trying not to overdo it, but it feels really good to be back at my desk making something again.

Even if I did have to dig my way to it first. 😂

Now… volleyball shirts first. Then we address whatever natural disaster apparently occurred in the rest of this room. 😬😂
