The horse industry lost a truly wonderful man with the passing of Dick Yamasaki. He was always positive and supportive of every horse and rider, not only capturing the memories in his beautiful photos, but always had a smile and kind words of encouragement and a true love for the animals.
Dick and Gerry have been generous, long time sponsors of the Wind River Ranch Series, helping us continue to put on these shows and help grow the industry.
To show our appreciation and honor our friends, we will be giving away a belt buckle at the end of every show season. We have decided to call it "The spirit of sportsmanship" award, to remind us of the selfless example Dick and Gerry have set for all of us.

Wow!! We have had an overwhelming response for Zane Davis. Please come and audit if you did not get a riding spot!!

These shows are designed for riders and horses of all levels. We want to make sure that we offer everyone a chance to learn about the classes and get the help they need. The afternoon clinic session will offer help in all 4 classes. We will set up the mechanical cow (flag) for people to practice on, as well as help with reining, trail, and pleasure. Clinicians to be announced. $50 fee to ride. Start time 1pm.

Due to a horse accident, our original clinician Connor McKean is unavailable because he is aiding the injured trainer. Zane Davis has offered to fill in. We are grateful for all of the amazing professionals that come to support our local show.

Limited spots as the clinic will be from 9-12 with Zane. Pleasure/horsemanship/trail clinic will be available from 1-5pm.
Auditors can sign up on the website for the Zane Davis clinic or pay on arrival.

Fun to see some WR residents compete at Brighton’s Ranch kickoff show! Can’t wait for Wind River Ranch Series. It’s going to be a fun year!

Had a blast at Brighton Performance Horses’s Spring Kick-Off Ranch Riding Show! Despite some uncertainties with new combos and first time ranch riders/horses. Our Team won Rookie High point (Mia on Exxcaliber), 13 and Under High point (Lifton on Jesse) and Amateur High Point (Celest on HEY JOE)! Everyone got a buckle and then some. More details to come!
