New Jersey State Children's Chorus

New Jersey State Children's Chorus Fostering community and leadership through choral singing NJSCC, based in Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ, is a community youth chorus.

Open to children in grades K-8, NJSCC consists of two ensembles. The Apprentice Choir is open to children in grades Kindergarten through Four, and the Intermediate Choir is open to children in grades Five through Eight. Any child with an interest in choral singing is welcome to attend up to two rehearsals prior to registering. A hearing will the Artistic Director will be scheduled. The mission of

the New Jersey State Children's Chorus is to achieve choral excellence through musicianship training, community building, and performance, empowering young people from every cultural and economic background to become leaders in their classrooms and their communities.

Currently, the NJSCC has postponed the concert scheduled for March 22 until June 7.
The NJSCC has discontinued rehearsals at least through April. Plans are subject to change. Stay well!

The NJSCC has postponed the concert scheduled for Sunday, March 29 until Sunday, April 26.
We have also discontinued rehearsals through Tuesday, March 31. We plan to resume rehearsals on Tuesday, April 7.
