Arts on the Ridge May 4th, 2019

The 13th Annual Arts on the Ridge Art Show & Sale will be held on May 4th in downtown Ridgeway, SC. This year’s theme “Opening Doors to Literary & Artisan Expression in Ridgeway” has inspired a Literary Festival with a gallery of 17 published South Carolina authors who have recently published their work, arts & craft vendors rich with original handmade pieces, a morning Farmers Market, yarnbombing, plein air artists painting all around town and live music.

The St Stephen’s Art and Fiber Guild will be covering trees, lampposts, benches, road signs, rocking chairs and more with colorful yarn craft in an effort to make a statement regarding how important arts and crafts are to the community.

The Literary Festival will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday with authors scheduled to be on hand from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.at the Century House. The Authors Gallery includes published authors Lisa Cullen, Rebecca Chamberlain, Don McCallister, Johnny Bloodworth, A.J. Brown, Raegan Teller, Sasscer Hill, Chuck Walsh, Candace Carter, Patricia McNeeley, Tom Poland, Sandy Richardson, Bentz Kirby, John Starino, Miho Kinnas, Al Black and Millie West.
