Ridgecrest Pinball

Ridgecrest Pinheads,

What an awesome September Monthly Tournament!

Congrats to our local pinball wizard, Daryl for winning it all! While some of us would say "but of course he would!", it wasn't as dominating as usual as we are collectively getting better. :-D

It's really impressive to see how scores have improved considerably by our local community. Nice work!

We had a considerable amount of the pinball community on official work travel, boooooo, but we had solid competition and some fun perks for this month.

Here are some random tidbits from September.

Big congrats to Chris and thank you for coming out and celebrating your birthday with us! I enjoyed making sure that we sang you happy birthday :) Delicious cupcakes were shared and we had a good laugh.
Best Dressed: Goes to the Harper fam with their custom Ridgecrest Pinball jerseys. Seriously... they are awesome.
Jim and Karin graced us with their presence! Jim and Karin helped kick off the local pinball community by showing up monthly and helping us grow. Karin brought the skills and Jim brought the humor :)
We had a new player Abigail join us and think we all agree that we had a good time!
Watch out Curtis! Elise was putting up some high scores, finishing just outside the top 4 for the playoffs.
I finally figured out how to play X-men again, putting up 200 mill during a playoff round. Watch out :-D
Chris won the raffle.

Permission slips signed and a good field trip was had Indian Wells Brewing Company

Thanks to Tim for cleaning up the machines and having them in good running order.

We will have to repeat this field trip again as it cools down.

Thanks Lorin Tater Smith for the original scouting trip and getting us up there!

We play again in September at Sierra Lanes Bowling Center .

Okay Facebook algorithm, I see you.

Apparently posts about permission slips and b**r are what it takes to get some attention 😂

Welcome new folk! There's a lot of you, awesome!

We play once a month typically at Sierra Lanes Bowling Center . They go hard with 5 new pinball machines that are a lot of fun.

This Saturday some of us are going up to check out the pinball machines up near iwv Indian Wells Brewing Company around 2.

If that doesn't work for you, I usually post a couple weeks out from our next tour ament to build up some hype.

We are a welcoming diverse group of individuals who make it a good time socializing and playing pinball. We'll make sure you have a good time.

Do you play? Have a favorite game from your past or right now? Know of any pinball wizards?
