Gham Drop Productions, a Cape Town based Production Company which produces innovative and engaging content with a focus on the South African Coloured Community. Our aim is to tell authentic stories about the often overlooked struggles, triumphs and eccentricities of Coloured people through our short films, features and web-series. Our unique voice and cinematic style gives audiences a new perspective on what they perceive about coloured people and allows coloured individuals to feel truly seen on screen- thus empowering a new generation of coloured filmmakers. Gham Drop is reclaiming the label "Gham" and turning it into something powerful that evokes pride in one's heritage rather than shame.
