Two and a half years ago, I moved to Richmond on kind of a whim. I had just lost a job that I loved. Devastated and frantic, I applied to radio gigs all over the country, and to my relief I actually received several great offers, all to do my own show in formats I enjoyed. And I turned them all down. Instead, I chose to move states to take a part time morning show producer job on a predominantly 80s station that I got offered randomly via Instagram 😂. It wasn’t the smart choice. It didn’t make any sense. But, call it intuition or divine leading or both — it’s what felt right. Fast forward to now, that was the best choice I ever made. The past few years definitely haven’t always been easy. But I ended up getting a different amazing job here, falling in love with the man I’ll soon call my husband, and gaining some of the best friends anyone could ever have — all as a direct result of that part time producer job that all sense said I shouldn’t have taken. Not everyone that I’ve been blessed to get to know here in Richmond is in this picture, but today I am especially thankful for these ones. These are my people, and I so so love this little family ♥️ Happy Friendsgiving you delinquents
Yes this is a low quality photo and yes I photoshopped Cameron in since he couldn’t make it.
