🔧 Mopar Mistress Saturday (Cat Edition) 🔧
Hey all you Mopar fans… look who decided to order parts for the ’69 Charger! 😼
Apparently The Mistress now has a new project manager, Harley. She’s been studying the catalog hard, reviewing hood hinges, latches, and springs like she’s been wrenching since ’69.
Who else has a “shop supervisor” who thinks they know better than you? Drop a pic of your four-legged crew in the comments!

Still rolling on the restoration — the body is cleaned out and getting ready for that sandblasting shower. More updates coming soon.
Tag your Mopar friends and fellow cat (or dog) supervisors!

After pulling out years of dirt, leaves, and old memories, I finally gave her a proper interior vacuum and detail. She’s looking cleaner inside than she has in decades.
Now she’s about to get the full sandblasting shower she’s been waiting for…
One layer at a time, we’re bringing her back.
This is her journey.
Follow for weekly updates every Mopar Monday.

Follow along for the resurrection.

After 25 long years, My Mistress — my 1969 Dodge Charger — has finally arrived at her new home: The Mirage Garage!
From this rough survivor sitting in the elements to a full resurrection… the transformation is just getting started.
If YOU were building her, what engine would you drop in?
🏁 Rebuilt 383 Stroker (numbers era correct)
💪 Legendary 440 Magnum
🔥 The holy grail 426 Hemi
⚡ Or something completely different?
Drop your dream combo and tell me why 👇
The Mistress is listening 👀

🚗 After 25 years, My Mistress has finally arrived at her new home — “The Mirage Garage”
This 1969 Charger has been a long journey. She’s now under a proper roof and ready for the next chapter of her transformation. From this rough survivor to whatever monster we create… the resurrection continues.
If you were building her, what engine would you choose?
🏁 Keep it numbers-era correct with a rebuilt 383 stroker?
💪 Drop in a legendary 440 Magnum?
🔥 Hunt down the elusive 426 Hemi?
⚡ Or go completely different?
Tell me your dream combo and why. The Mistress is listening 👀
(No wrong answers… except maybe an LS 😆)
What would you do?

🔧 Mopar Mistress Monday! 🔧
Hey Mopar fam! 👋 What’s hiding in THE BOX?
I just dragged this beast of a crate in for The Mistress — my ’69 Charger project. Left side says HEAD, right side says ROD… and the markings point to big-block 440 territory.
Drop your best guess below — what do you think we’ve got in here? 👀

While you’re guessing, let’s talk Chargers:
What’s your all-time favorite year Dodge Charger?
And if money/time were no object…
• Full restoration (back to factory glory)?
• RestoMod (modern power + vintage looks)?
• Or something completely different (pro-touring, restified, drag monster, etc.)?
Tell me your dream build in the comments! I read every single one.

The Mistress — A ’69 Dodge Charger Restoration Story

Born in 1969 as a factory Dodge Charger 383 Magnum, this Mopar has been part of my life since 1998. After decades of memories, miles, and battles with time, “The Mistress” is beginning her next chapter — a complete resurrection back to the legendary machine she was meant to be.

This restoration is more than rebuilding a car; it’s preserving a piece of American muscle car history. Every detail, from the bodywork and drivetrain to the finishing touches, will honor the original character of this iconic Mopar while creating a Charger worthy of the road, the show field, and the Mopar community.

This project is being brought back to life by a retired Marine Corps First Sergeant — built on the same values that guided a career of service: commitment, discipline, attention to detail, and refusing to quit when the mission gets difficult.

Follow along as we uncover the hidden story, overcome the challenges, and bring this ’69 Charger R/T back to life — one part, one panel, and one memory at a time.

Owner since 1998. Mopar forever. Semper Fi.
