🔥It has been almost three decades since, at a young age, I devoted my soul to the arts of Black Metal.
This photo was taken in Bogotá, Colombia, during some of the first concerts with Thy Antichrist. I was in my twenties, carrying the same hunger I carry today. The desire to devour the world through my art without knowing where the road ahead would lead me.
Almost three decades later, countless miles lie behind me, filled with memories and changes. Triumphs and defeats. Accomplishments and disappointments. Lessons written not only in victories, but also in mistakes, falls, and the strength required to rise again.
Through it all, I carry the satisfaction of having remained true to myself. An honest man and artist who has learned from both the light and the darkness, reflected upon his mistakes, and continued moving forward.
Some battles remain. Some disappointments still echo today. Adverse circumstances never completely disappear. But we continue pushing through, fighting the good fight, because courage is not about never falling, it is about finding the strength to rise every time the world brings you to your knees.
To everyone who has walked beside me, supported my art, attended the shows, listened to the music, or simply believed throughout all these years: MY DEEPEST GRATITUDE!
Creating art today sometimes feels harder than it did in the past. We live in an age where art and artists can become disposable almost overnight, where information travels faster than the blink of an eye and human creation competes for attention against an endless digital tide. The shadow of AI grows larger every day, consuming pieces of the creative landscape like an insatiable creature.
And yet, something remains that no machine, algorithm, or changing era can erase: the human spirit behind genuine art.
There are still real artists creating from their souls. There are still real supporters searching for something authentic. There are still people who understand that art is more than content. It is experience, sacrifice, memory, blood, failure, triumph and life itself.
Time will continue its relentless march. The world will continue to transform. And so will we.
But we will continue to create!
We will continue to rise!
We will continue to fight!
Almost three decades later, the fire still burns!
Cuernos Arriba! 🤘🔥
