When we started Nine Lives Games, it came from a simple idea:

We love game nights.

Not just playing games — but the moments that happen around the table. The laughter, the tension, the ridiculous decisions that everyone remembers long after the game ends.

Kevin Verssen has been designing games since he was a child, and we’ve always loved seeing people enjoy something he created.

Eventually we asked ourselves: What if we built something of our own?

That idea turned into Nine Lives Games, and Spicy Saloon is the very first game we’re bringing to life.

It’s the result of a lot of playtesting, late nights, design tweaks, and sitting around the table with friends laughing when someone pulls the worst pepper possible.

Seeing people already backing the project has been incredible, and we’re so grateful for the support.
