Hi! Im Jessica Clark
I’m deep in marketing across a few rural towns and small businesses and I got to say, whew!… I’ve officially hit AI visual burnout. This is no offense to using AI, I use it, I think it’s a useful tool. Especially when small businesses have been stuck in this “bootstrap everything, prove your worth, work twice as hard just to survive” mindset forever. Like… what if it didn’t have to be that hard all the time?
But here’s where I’m at with it, it's not the tools that are the problem, it’s how we’re using them. Everything is starting to look the same. Same visuals, same tone and same polished nothing. It’s like we’re all just pushing out more and more content trying to keep up, but not actually saying anything different. Faster, not better.
Meanwhile the big corporations are using AI at a level none of us can even compete with, and we’re down here arguing with each other about whether we should be using it at all. That part feels so backwards to me.
Because the reality is, if you’re a business and you’re not using AI in some way, your competition probably is. But if you’re using it to replace your voice instead of support it, people can feel that too. Especially here in our communities.
So yes! Use the tools, You should! Work smarter where you can especially as a small business owner
Just don’t lose yourself in it.
Because right now, the only thing that’s actually going to cut through is being human.
If you’re ready to scale and you’re tired of posting just to keep up, let’s build something with a little more intention, It is time we connect!
