Edens Conflict

Edens Conflict A 2–6-player turn-based cooperative strategy card game. A Word From The Maker. Now I would like to share my experience with all of you, but I can't do it alone.

After graduating from Mission College Of Evangelism in the fall of 2016, I noted a void in GOOD Christian based games. I began looking back on my time as the impromptu children's program coordinator for our evangelistic series. Having no resources to entertain the kids, I had unwittingly learned to improvise games that could be used to teach spiritual lessons. Soon after this, I found myself, lik

e many today, coming down from that spiritual "mountain top" experience, stuck in a valley of temptation. As I put to use the power found in God's word to overcome the spiritual trials before me, the question came to mind, "Why has no one made a game that teaches you how to do this?"
Fast forward 4 years, and Eden's Conflict is the result of that day. So check out the website to learn more about the game. And if you feel so inclined, help me grow its following to finally bring this game to the world. If this helps one person to take hold of God's promises and claim victory in their life. It was all worth it.

Quick example adding up points.

1) Return unused cards to the decks.
2) Check for matches to your secret sins. (Matches double along with every secret sin card)
3) Add up promises. (All gems count as double)

Free actions are a bit different from the dice basic and advanced actions as they can only be done when it’s your turn to roll the dice.

You may do one of the following:
1. Play a grace card from your hand or activate its ability in your character card. (Future video explaining Grace)

2. Move a temptation from another player’s battlefield to your own.
The advantage of doing this second action gives you a change to prepare proper counter measures. While the first is the only way to play your power ups.

‭‭Another quick rules breakdown.

The character card is the green card with a gemstone design.
Each card has four slots that hold either a temptation or grace card (future video explaining that in more detail later.)

Each player starts with one temptation behind your character card but can gain more as the game progresses. Temptations placed here are your “secret sins” aka your moral weakness.

Each secret sin you have doubles the points and strength of all matching temptation of the same suit that enter your battlefield. (Anger, doubt, greed, lust, envy, pride, apathy, and deceit.)

To remove a secret sin from your character, cost one boosted (memorized promise) card from your battlefield.
This can be done at anytime so long as you have the card and gems to sacrifice.

‌ If you’re looking to get more out of your mid journey, art creations try adding —s 650 (style) styles can be from 0 to 1000 and the higher you go the more verried your images will become.

Another behind the scenes look at some of the used and unused art from today’s post.

When the Lord descended upon Mount Sinai, the place was consecrated by His presence. Moses was commanded to put bounds around the mount and sanctify it, and the word of the Lord was heard in warning: “Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: there shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live.
Exodus 19:12, 13. Thus was taught the lesson that wherever God manifests His presence, the place is holy. -DA p.156

Today’s topic was organization taken from a devotional thought I had scribbled down a few months back. The concept being that if God’s presence makes something holy to what standard will we be called to accountability for after knowing that He calls us to be His temples in the flesh.

As always I seek to understand the deeper meaning of scripture and hope you find these post insightful. Comment below if you have any tips or tricks that help you to live by this principle, or if you just flat out disagree. All are welcome here!

Here is a closer look at some of the art that went into the two-part reel entitled “The Man Atop the Wall.” This post was originally from a poem I wrote during one of my morning meditations.
