This high-energy musical brings the beloved characters of Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and a whole cast of fairy-tale favorites to life in a fun, heartwarming story about friendship, acceptance, and being true to yourself.

Open to students in 2nd through 8th grade, this full-day summer camp provides an immersive theatre experience where participants develop skills in acting, singing, movement, and ensemble performance. Campers will rehearse daily with experienced instructors, working together to create a fully staged musical production to be shared with the community. No prior theatre experience is required! Shrek Jr. is designed to be inclusive, engaging, and rewarding for performers of all levels.

Camp Information:

Eligible Grades: 2nd–8th Grade
Registration Packet: Available January 16, 2026
Registration Opens: January 16, 2026
Registration Cap: 60 participants

Tuition: $500 (after January 15th)
Additional Sibling Tuition: $475 (after January 15th)

Camp Dates & Times: June 15 – July 10, 2026 (Monday–Friday) | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Today was the first day of camp for the Axiom Children’s Theatre 2025, and we are already so excited for you to see our show! For the next four weeks these young actors will learn and rehearse a show that will dazzle and delight, so be sure to save the dates July 25-27!
