We're aware of the social media posts and questions about a recent incident at WaterWorks Park. When the concern was raised, management responded right away and looked into what happened, including reviewing the available security footage.

Here’s the fact that matters most: The safety and well-being of our guests will always be one of our highest priorities. We care deeply about the families who visit WaterWorks Park and take our responsibility to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone very seriously.

Details: The male guest accused of taking inappropriate photos had his phone checked at the time, and no inappropriate photos were found. Management did not witness him taking any, and the security footage didn't support the accusation either.

The security cameras also captured the other guest striking him during the same encounter. Both guests were informed that law enforcement could be contacted, and both declined. They resolved things between themselves and both chose to stay and finish out their day at the park with their families.

We won't be sharing further personal details about either guest, or speculating about who they are. That's not ours to give out.

What concerns us now is the harassment building around this online and people posting photos trying to find both guests. An unsubstantiated accusation should never turn into anyone - either guest - being targeted, threatened, or harassed.
If you see posts naming or picturing them, please don't share or screenshot - report them to the platform instead. We're doing the same, and if this crosses into real threats, we'll support either guest in taking it further.

There's always more to an incident than what fits in a caption or a comment thread. Thank you to those who have approached this situation thoughtfully and responsibly.

💥EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT💥

Meet Chris! This is Chris's first season at WaterWorks Park. From the moment he stepped on site for his first shift on the Maintenance Team, we knew he was the perfect addition!

Chris is our diagnostic superstar for 2026. His ability to assess, diagnose, and fix things is absolutely incredible. He is an outside-the-box thinker whose wisdom in his field is beyond his years!

When Chris isn't rocking his duties at the park, you can find him outdoors with his pooch 🐾 — and very likely with an out-of-office response stating he's gone fishing! 🎣

🧜‍♀️💕 Our final Family Night of the season: Mermaid Night was pure magic!

There were just as many hugs as there were smiles — and honestly, that's the cuteness we live for. From sparkly tails to splashy high-fives, this one is going down as one of our favorites. 🌊✨

Thank you to every little mermaid (and merman!) who made July 26th so special. We can't wait for next year! 💙
