My interpretation and tribute to the 1972 Cosmopolitan Magazine Burt Reynolds Centerfold set on the sheet music for the J.Geils Band song "Centerfold " , a song traditionally associated with the lustful objectification of the female form.
The original has been shown in multiple galleries including Las Vegas Erotic Heritage Museum and Seattle's Gallery Eroto with limited print availability.
This piece goes beyond an aesthetic re-creation of an iconic image. It carries a deep connection to my history, not only an artist, but as a woman who grew up being encouraged to love the human body, be proud of sexuality, and always, always, always .. challenge gender norms.
