The Miss Rodeo North Dakota crown took me all the way to the legendary Beaches of Cheyenne and gave me the trip of a lifetime.
From parades, puppies, pancake breakfasts, and incredible PRCA performances to the unforgettable honor of meeting former North Dakota Governor and current U.S. Secretary of the Interior, Doug Burgum, every moment was one I’ll cherish forever.
I wrapped up the week with one of the most iconic experiences a state titleholder can have, a flyby over the legendary Cheyenne Frontier Days track. It was a truly once-in-a-lifetime moment that left me overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion.

On this National Day of the Cowboy, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by honoring one specific cowboy.
Devin “Digger” Hall lived life to the absolute fullest. He embodied everything a cowboy should be: hardworking, genuine, proud of his heritage, and always willing to lend a hand. I was incredibly fortunate to call him my brother.
Just a short time before the 2026 Miss Rodeo North Dakota pageant, Digger passed away unexpectedly. As heartbreaking as that loss was, I knew I wanted to carry a piece of him with me.
From the very first time I competed for Miss Rodeo North Dakota, I dreamed of wearing a pair of “Cowboys and Indians” chaps that celebrated the rich history of North Dakota, the western way of life, and my own Native heritage. When it came time to bring that vision to life, it only felt right to dedicate them to one of the best cowboys, and proudest Indians, I have ever known.
Every time I wear these chaps, I’m reminded that being a cowboy isn’t just about what you wear or what you do, it’s about your character, your grit, your respect for others, and the legacy you leave behind. Digger exemplified all of those things, and I hope to honor his memory every time I step into the arena.
Happy National Day of the Cowboy. Here’s to the cowboys who came before us, the ones who continue to inspire us, and especially to you, Digger. You’ll always ride with me.

From meeting the faces I grew up watching on TV, to hearing speeches about lives well lived and journeys hard fought, to watching rodeo legends earn their place in the Hall of Fame, Colorado Springs was the perfect way to kick off my 10-day adventure away from North Dakota.

Not only did North Dakota’s temperatures heat up last week, so did the rodeo action! Bailey Pro Rodeo put on 3 PRCA rodeo performances in just as many days at 2 different county fairs. I loved getting to enjoy some in-state rodeos before hitting the road for a stretch of out-of-state travel!

I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday than right here at home in Killdeer!
The Killdeer Mountain Roundup will always hold a special place in my heart. Words can’t describe how grateful I am for the unwavering support they’ve shown throughout my journey as Miss Rodeo North Dakota.
I also can’t talk about my Fourth of July weekend without giving a special shoutout to Roman—the iconic leader of the J Bar J string of black horses. He carried me with confidence through three performances and two parades, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
Thank you to everyone who made this weekend so memorable for both me and our community. I feel incredibly blessed to represent North Dakota and even prouder to call the USA home.
Happy 250th, America! 🇺🇸❤️

Throwback Thursday! 🤍

Four years ago today, I competed for my very first rodeo queen title. Tonight, I’ll ride into that very same Killdeer Mountain Roundup Rodeo arena as Miss Rodeo North Dakota. I couldn’t think of any other place I’d rather celebrate! ❤️

Would you believe it if I said there was another full circle moment in it all? One of the judges from that very first pageant, Callie Enander Anderson, was a judge for the Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2027 pageant, she also served as Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2020–2021! 💙

June has absolutely flown by!
I kicked off the month by being part of two of North Dakota’s major rodeo circuits — the PRCA and NDRA.
Friday night, I made the trip to Belcourt for a Bailey Pro Rodeo production at Sky Dancer Casino & Resort.
Saturday afternoon was spent in Killdeer with friends and family honoring and remembering a cowboy gone too soon. That evening, the NDRA did one of his favorite things, putting on a great rodeo in his memory.
These rodeos were an incredible start to the month, and I can’t wait to share more of my June adventures with all of you!

These are the people who make all of this possible.

The Miss Rodeo ND Board is made up of dedicated, unpaid volunteers - people who have come together with one goal in mind: to better the lives of young women across our state. Throughout the year, our board works together to provide opportunities for young women to become strong role models in their communities, positive influences for others, and advocates for the western way of life.

I know every one of them is humble and would never ask for recognition, but I believe a heartfelt thank-you is more than deserved. I am incredibly honored to work alongside people who genuinely care about empowering young women and promoting the honest values of the Western lifestyle.
