Prayers go out to the families of Jason Myers and Chip Tayag from WBTV in Charlotte. Their helicopter crashed today and both were killed. Chip was able to steer the helicopter to avoid hitting any cars on I-77 where they crashed. 😔🙏

Sheetz has announced it's dropping the price of Unleaded 88 gasoline to 1.99/gallon between now and 11/28.

If you're interested and not sure if your car can/should take 88, here's what we found out according to the website unl88.com and other sources.

- The EPA approves the use of Unleaded 88 in all gasoline and flex-fuel vehicles 2001 and newer. Unleaded 88 is a blend of 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline that burns cleaner and has a higher octane

- If you use Unleaded 88 instead of the regular Unleaded 87 gasoline, nothing will happen to your car. The only difference is the octane rating.

- The fuel can damage an engine if it sits in the tank for too long, which is why it's NOT recommended for vehicles used seasonally, such as boats and lawnmowers. If you drive regularly, your car should be fine, experts say.

Unleaded 88 is a blend of 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline that burns cleaner and has higher octane that’s better for your engine, environment, and wallet.

In 2023, I decided rather than just go repeat what we did on this summer's stadium tour, I wanted to take this band and these songs to a lot of the cities we played on our way up, call it the "I Go Back Tour" and do just that. I was so excited to come back home and be a part of this joyous event and join the staff 947 QDR. We were all in the Christmas spirit up until we heard the news of the accident and tragic loss of this young girl.
