2️⃣5️⃣ years ago, Band Together started with a simple idea: music can change lives. And we’re just getting started.

We've grown into a movement that continues to strengthen our community year after year.

As the dust settles, our hearts are still full from everything that happened Saturday night. ❤️

The Mighty Giveback wouldn't be possible without those who give their time, talent, and treasure. We want to take a moment to recognize our incredible volunteers.

From selling merch and serving food and drinks to setting up, tearing down, keeping things running smoothly, and bringing the good vibes all night long, our volunteers are truly the heartbeat of this event. We couldn't do what we do without you, and we're so grateful to have you in the Band Together family. 🎸🤘

Story 14: Three Times We Answered the Call

“In 2005, Band Together responded three times.
1. Our planned event for Music Maker Relief Foundation went on through an ice storm.
2. After the devastating tsunami, we raised funds for Stop Hunger Now, and volunteers traveled to Sumatra to deliver meals.
3. Then Hurricane Katrina struck. With no budget for artists, 16 Triangle bands performed for free while we worked with the Food Bank to send food and supplies from Raleigh to New Orleans.

That year showed exactly what our community would do when people needed help: band together.”
