We're 42% of the way to our goal of raising 5,000 for student research and choreography-- can you help us get to 100%?

Every year students conduct projects with costs that fall outside of the parameters of our budget. These projects are robust examples of how to expand the scope of research possibilities at our university.

Funding raised through this campaign will not only allow students to complete their research; it will also give them opportunities to present their research within and beyond NC State.

We are in week two of our crowdfunding effort and going strong! Thank you to all of you who have already contributed to our goal of raising $5,000 for student research and choreography at NC State!

Each semester, motivated student artists propose new projects to be developed, necessitating resources for rehearsal spaces, costuming, props, travel expenses, and more. These photos show THREE such student works that were recently presented in the Panoramic Dance Project Concert for an audience of more than 500 people.

Our current crowdfunding effort will go directly towards our student's desires to study, research, and explore choreographic processes while studying at NC State. Will you consider helping us reach our goal?

ARTS NC STATE recently spoke with Tara Mullins, director of the NC State Dance Program, about her background, her work at NC State and the recent societal issues she has been moved to address and express through dance. 💃
In addition to sporting events, I also love supporting ARTS NC STATE because it consists of amazing departments and live performances. Arts NC State consists of NC State LIVE, the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at NC State, NC State University Crafts Center, NC State University Theatre, NC State Department of Music, and NC State Dance Program in which students can be involved. In the past, I have seen many of the shows put on by NC State Live, for instance, performances by student A ca****la groups such as Wolfgang A Ca****la and Ladies in Red! I have also watched and enjoyed international performances hosted by NC State Live such as Nobuntu, a Zimbabwean A ca****la ensemble, and the Yamato Drummers, a group of drummers from Japan.

Starting next week, University Theatre will performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare and with two showtimes that are happening after NC State’s Open House next Saturday, October 16, so make sure to check it out if you do visit NC State in the coming weeks! https://theatre.arts.ncsu.edu/ |
