In addition to sporting events, I also love supporting ARTS NC STATE because it consists of amazing departments and live performances. Arts NC State consists of NC State LIVE, the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at NC State, NC State University Crafts Center, NC State University Theatre, NC State Department of Music, and NC State Dance Program in which students can be involved. In the past, I have seen many of the shows put on by NC State Live, for instance, performances by student A ca****la groups such as Wolfgang A Ca****la and Ladies in Red! I have also watched and enjoyed international performances hosted by NC State Live such as Nobuntu, a Zimbabwean A ca****la ensemble, and the Yamato Drummers, a group of drummers from Japan.
Starting next week, University Theatre will performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare and with two showtimes that are happening after NC State’s Open House next Saturday, October 16, so make sure to check it out if you do visit NC State in the coming weeks!
