HELLO!

In case you were wondering where I went… it’s my final semester of my MFA program! I am full speed writing my thesis which is consuming all of my time including my time to paint and make.

Bitter sweet moments this winter and spring but it will all pay off this May come graduation!

She Sticks Out started when I was accepted to this program and now almost 3 years later I’m almost through it!

Please stand by as I finish my thesis and prioritize my studies for the time being. Don’t worry! She Sticks Out will be creating again soon and in the meantime I will share some more life updates and personal activities to fill out feed!

LIFE UPDATE:

I know it’s been a while but I have good reason for being MIA!

1) I just finished my first contract on a broadway tour. I worked for 3 weeks at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR as a Production Assistant on the relaunch of Angelica Hamilton tour! As most of you know I am studying and working towards becoming a full time production manager in live performance and this was a big jump in the right direction!

2) I have been working on a surprise gift for my dad since April for his birthday in late August! I haven’t show yall any of the progress because it was a surprise but this weekend I was able to gift my first ever quilt for dad to kick off football season!!! He loves it!

3) I started my first day of my very last year of grad school! I cannot believe how fast theses years have flown by but I can’t wait to see what comes out of this year!

I promise new designs and more paintings will be coming your way soon!
