Want to guess bandaid count for the first round of donations to UNC Children's Hospital? June 28th will be Edward’s 8th year cancer free anniversary! You aren’t too late if you haven’t sent them yet. We will be collecting all summer. It’s amazing how many bandaids they go through. Especially just the fall when they have to give out flu shots too. Thank you for this impressive first round!

We have lots of bandaids coming in and we are so happy to see all these cool bandaids that will bring a smile on kids faces at UNC children’s hospital but it’s not enough yet to put a big dent in their need. They reached out today to see what we have collected. I know they are thrilled for any help but I know how many they run through in a day. And it’s mind blowing. I’m keeping the amazon link open for anyone who wants to still send some. Edward’s 8 year cancer free is coming up at the end of June. Thanks for considering helping the kids at UNC.

Happy 21st Edward. Edward used to ask for dog food instead of gifts at his birthday parties. He would get hundreds of pounds of dog food. Now we have shifted to bandaid for cancer kids. His heart is still so kind just like when he was little. If you can donate some bandaids the link is below. And thank you to all that have sent them already! It makes a huge difference!

Hey all of you! UNC hospital reached out that they are in need of kid themed bandaids. The hospital supplies the necessary bandaids which are your standard bandaids bandaids. Kids deserve fun, colorful, cute bandaids after what they have been through. Even Edward knew the difference when he was in treatment at age 12. The average age for childhood cancer is 6. So many of these kids are very young. Plus they don’t just stay in the cancer section of the hospital. They are going all over the place there. Doing testing. Going to specialist. Our friend is an amazing CPAL. CPALs are college students that help kids get through their treatment. They come play during chemo or while they are admitted. Ours came every single day of our month long stay during transplant. Amazing program! The bandaids are at UNC pediatric surgery. Thank you all so much!
