This little gem received two nice recognitions by Paper Emporium and White’s Cleaning Co. Saturday at the Columbian Artists Association’s Spring Show at the Cowlitz County Historical Museum in Kelso.
It was also appreciated to have TJFrey, one of the show’s judges, talk about the high qualities executed in my watercolor and ink illustration.
This was in the mixed media category. My source for the Red Currants was my personal photo taken in Monet’s Garden in 2023.
Visit the show on Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Entry is free and you can also go through the museum’s newest displays.

Getting into a new phase of my artwork by doing my own sublimation printing on various materials. It does take some testing to get the right heat transfer time and temperature. Also, the image needs to be good quality.
These are market tote bags - small one is 13x12 and larger ones are 13x17. These are on display at the Broadway Gallery in Longview. Open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 4pm.
I will also have these at the Rainier Spring Chamber Bazaar at the Rainier Riverfront Center on April 18, 10 am to 4pm.

Just finished a spring time wind chime of Chickadees. They are one of my favorite birds here. The metal figures have been painted with enamel paint to resist rust.

Congratulations to Adam from McMinnville for winning the Astoria Trolley Print that I was giving away at the Winter Bazaar & Craft Fair last weekend.
There are more 8x10 prints of the trolley for $15. They will be available at the Broadway Gallery in Longview WA.
