The venerable .416-mile oval opened in 1952 and continues to host exciting local racing action today. Five divisions compete regularly from April-September: NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series Late Model, Limited Sportsman, MOD-4, Super Street and UCAR. Motor Mile Speedway has been NASCAR-sanctioned since 1988. Beginning with Tim McGuire, the track has crowned 14 NASCAR Late Model track champions in

29 seasons. Motor Mile Speedway has been the home track of two NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series national champions on six different occasions: Philip Morris (2006, ’08, ’09) and Lee Pulliam (2012, ’13, ’15).

Statement from GM of PCMP
I just wanted to address an unfortunate disqualification last week in one of our 4 cylinder classes, seems there is plenty info on social media so just wanted to share the speedways side,
After the race we inspected the top 3, during inspection we found a metering block to be wrong, we went to the competitor and explained the situation, he told us that’s impossible it was just inspected last week at the pine, we immediately reached out to head tech and in fact carburetors did not get checked it was suspension not carburetors, we explained what was wrong and even offered to provide him with a legal part at no cost to try and help him out, 2nd and 3rd place blocks were found to be legal and no issues, Monday we reached back out to the head official at the pine and he agreed it was not legal, we regret that this happen but it’s also our job to create a legal and fair platform for all our competitors, it’s our understanding that the competitor will not be coming back, we regret this and wish him the best of luck wherever he goes, he is certainly welcome to come back at any time, our officials have been taking a lot of heat from social media but keep in mind it was not just our officials that agreed to the decision, again we regret that anyone gets disqualified but we need to make sure we are fair for all competitors, Thanks for all the support and hope to see everyone again soon,
