I’m officially featured in Bold Journey!

When I started Promise & Co., I knew I was building a business—but I didn’t realize just how much of me would be built in the process.

In this interview, I got to talk about the journey behind becoming The Event Matchmaker™, what I’ve learned while building something from the ground up, and the experiences that have shaped the way I approach entrepreneurship.

And the beautiful part?

I’m still in the middle of the story.

Promise & Co. is still growing. I’m still learning. Still making connections. Still figuring some things out one step at a time.

A reminder when booking event vendors: price should never be the only thing you compare.

Recent conversations in the wedding community are a good reminder to look at the full picture before handing over a deposit.

Check the contract.
Check recent reviews.
Verify who you’re actually hiring.
Ask what happens if they’re sick, unavailable, or have an emergency.
Make sure payment information matches the business you contracted with.
And pay attention to communication before you book — not just after.

A lower price does not automatically mean lower quality. But transparency, reliability, and clear expectations matter.

Hammy is the unofficial mascot for every idea, rabbit trail, “what if…”, research spiral, and “orrrrrr hear me out” moment that somehow turns into something real around here.

He’s small. He’s busy. His wheel is always turning.

And apparently… he works here now.
