The Kell Republic: Gritborn

The Gritborn are veterans of Kell’s early skirmishes, having mastered small-unit tactics stolen from Terran Imperium dossiers to turn the enemy’s own manuals against them.

Lacking heavy armor or orbital support, these militias learned to fight from the earth up. They dug vast tunnel networks beneath settlement perimeters and planted magnetic mines to cripple Imperial transports. In the dust-choked canyons, they unleashed salvaged railguns from camouflaged bunkers to ambush their foes.

Their motto: “Build it. Defend it. Live free or die forgotten.”
