Something cool is happening!

I was asked by Kristina Campbell The Branch at 1501 to design a mural for Uptown Racine. This being the arts district and a community very dear to me, I knew exactly what I’d design.

So I started promptly as soon as I got confirmation. I love the postcard murals I’ve seen around the country and wanted something that would reflect Racine and Uptown. Adding iconic parts of Racine like the red lighthouse, Kringle, beer & fish fry, arts for the Arts District, the SC Johnson Headquarters and the Root River! There’s also small Easter eggs in the mural, if you know or recognize them 👀

The mural is being painted by muralist Dean Tawwater. It’s almost there and seeing it come to life brings me so much joy! So honored to be able to create a piece for Uptown!
