Brooks County Skillet Festival Celebrating 15 years of food, farming, family, and Southern tradition! Join us for this one-day event on the bustling courthouse square.

Join us October 17, 2026, in Downtown Quitman, GA, for the Brooks County Skillet Festival featuring the Cast Iron 5K, cook-off, live music, vendors, and family fun! The Brooks County Skillet Festival is an artisan craft fair, food festival and vintage market, all tied up in a pretty burlap bow. The Quitman-Brooks County, Georgia community does it right -- by showcasing local restaurants, artists,

and vendors, there is something for everyone. The day's schedule begins with a 5K road race, and continues with demonstrations and exhibitions, children's activities, dog and quilt shows, great live music and the signature event - the Skillet Toss!
