One of our FAVORITE activities is happening tomorrow at the Activity Center!

As the weather gets colder and outdoor playtime gets shorter, Play-ercize is the perfect way for kids to get moving, burn off some energy, and just PLAY!

TWO FREE ACTIVITIES TOMORROW! 10/15

Looking for something fun to do on Thursday? We've got something for the littles AND the grown-ups!

PLAY-ERCISE | 8:30–10:30 AM

Bring your preschoolers out to play! Our FREE indoor play program is back! It's a great opportunity for little ones to burn off some energy, have fun, and make new friends!

BYO CRAFT DAY/NIGHT | TWO SESSIONS!

☀️ Daytime: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM 🌙 Evening: 6:30–8:30 PM

Got a craft project you've been meaning to finish? Bring it with you! Whether you're quilting, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, coloring, or working on something completely different, come enjoy some creative time and conversation with fellow crafters!

No instructor, no planned project, and no pressure! Just bring your supplies and enjoy some dedicated crafting time. All skill levels welcome!

Both programs are at the Recreation Activity Center, 105 2nd Ave SE, Quincy.

FREE to attend! No advance registration required!

Our FIRST Monthly LEGO Build Challenge kicks off tonight! Each month, we’ll have a new surprise challenge waiting for you — all you need to bring is your imagination. We’ll provide the LEGO bricks!

We aren’t revealing October’s challenge just yet… but let’s just say things might get a little scary around here. 🎃

We have our program up and running. Sign up your kiddos for after school fun and activities.

School is back—which means our After School Program is back too!

Looking for a safe, fun place for your K–5th grader to spend the afternoon? The Quincy Recreation Department After School Program starts September 8th!

Kids get a chance to unwind after the school day while enjoying snacks, games, arts & crafts, STEAM activities, social time, homework time and more! We want afternoons to be a mix of having fun, making friends, getting creative, and having a little time to tackle homework too.

- Bus transportation from school to the program will be available!
- Program runs after school until 5:30pm
- $95/month in-city rate $114/month out-of-city rate

Space is limited, so get registered and let us take a little bit of the “What are we doing with the kids after school?” stress off your plate!

Beautiful Morning at the Aquatic Center this morning. Join us for our final weekend of the summer this Labor Day weekend. Open Sat-Monday from 1-4:30 each day. Come get that last swim of the summer in. See you at the QAC. 2026, That's a Wrap!!
