My inquiry -

What organized the circle?

Because once you begin with where the opening should be, you’re already looking at the outcome.

The circle has already appeared. The brush has already moved.

I’m interested in what preceded that.

The hand approached the paper.

The brush made contact.

Pressure appeared.

Direction appeared.

Movement continued.

At some point it ended.

And somewhere within all of that, a circle became visible.
