Sorry this wasn't posted on Sunday....Facebook and I are having trouble keeping my page up and running ever since I was hacked back in the summer. The joys of technology!
BUT we are still having Paint Parties! We will be painting these fun wooden stockings just in time for Christmas. They are over a foot long! Join us Thursday morning, December 19th at 930 AM at the Senior Center. No painting experience necessary. I will show you how step by step. All supplies are provided. Class is $12. Join the Quartzsite Art Guild Thursday December 12th at 12:30 PM at the Mt Quail RV Park Clubhouse for a short business meeting and a wonderful class on use of brushes and pallet knives. Karen Heninger is a great instructor and will be our teacher for the day. Yearly dues are just $10 and our class is free for members.

The Showdown begins TODAY! A Snowman Showdown! Join me Monday December 2nd at 10:30 AM at Arizona Western College or Thursday December 5th at the Senior Center at 9:30 AM. You will each be creating your version of this awesome Snowman. Then if you choose to enter the Showdown I will post a photo of your painting on my Facebook Art After Fifty - Meeks Mercantile page. The Snowman that gets the most likes will win a gift basket!!! And bragging rights as Showdown Winner! No painting experience required. I will teach you how step by step.
