I am incredibly honored and thrilled to share and announce that I have been appointed the new Director of Music Ministries at Christ Church UMC in Lansdale, PA beginning on Wednesday July 1st, 2026! My first Sunday as Director of Music Ministries will be on Sunday July 5th!
I am so excited to partner and work alongside Pastor Zachary Hopple as we enter this new season of ministry together. Stepping into this role also means succeeding Miki Chelton, who faithfully led this incredible program for 19 years until her retirement. Following that kind of legacy is a profound responsibility, and I am deeply grateful for the trust Pastor Zach, the music staff, and the church leadership have placed in me.
In this new role, I will be overseeing the entire music ministry. I am blessed to supervise an amazing staff of 6 music directors/staff members, all of whom are so incredibly gifted in leading their own respective ensembles. As for me, I am so thrilled to personally direct the Adult Chancel Choir, Gabriel’s Praise, and Sing Alleluia!
Together as a team, we as a church will lead a total of 14 musical ensembles spanning traditional, contemporary, and instrumental worship. I cannot wait to collaborate with Pastor Zach, these 6 talented staff members, the musicians in all 14 ensembles, and the wonderful congregation in Lansdale, PA. They have all been wonderful throughout the process.
Thank you to my family, friends, mentors, and colleagues who have supported my musical journey and lifted me up in prayer during these past two months of transition. Your encouragement means the world to me. God is faithful, and I’m ready to make beautiful music and serve this community together starting in July! To God be the Glory!
