Hello everyone 💜
I realized I never made a full introductory post.

My name is Kaitlyn. I am 24 years old and live in Washington state with my boyfriend of 3 years. Aside from making flowers: I like to read - my favorite book ever is Love, Lucas by Chantele Sedgwick, listen to music - currently obsessed with THE BAND CAMINO. I also love to sing. I love animals. And I love nature.

I started making flowers late last year, I think I was sick at the time and just needed something to get my mind off the sickness and I was scrolling through crafts to do on Pinterest and I came across Pipe Cleaner Flowers. I made my first ever bouquet sometime later for a birthday present - shout out to one of my favorite people: Arvilla. I’m so glad that my first ever bouquet went to someone so special to me.

A breakdown of how I came up with the name for this small hobby business: Wild Violet Faux Florals - my favorite color is purple hence Violet being a shade of purple. Faux meaning fake I just think it sounds nicer and Florals because well obviously I make floral arrangements.

My favorite flowers to make are:
Lillies - any kind of Lilly really
Peonies
Poppies
Columbine
Daffodils
That’s only to name a few. 💜

I love making flowers and seeing the looks on people’s faces when they receive them. One day, I hope to make enough flowers and bouquets and deliver them to nearby children hospitals, old folks homes etc. just so they all have something to look forward to.

I’m sure some people think I’m crazy and think I’m not going to go anywhere with this but I hope to prove them wrong. This is something that makes me feel really happy.

I made a cute little mini peony. 🌸🩷
The flowers for this bouquet are done. I just need to bedazzle the vase and then the whole thing will be done. I can’t wait to give these to the intended person in a little less than two weeks. ☺️

A follow up to my last post - I added two poppies, and a columbine flower to this wonderfully pink bouquet. 🩷 still not entirely finished but I love it so much and can’t wait to give it to the intended person.

I finally finished the blue carnations I have been working on but I won’t be posting those until later.

About to head out for work but I wanted to post a cute little sneak peak of a bouquet I am working on. 🩷 not even close to finished but so far, I love how it’s turning out. I was back and forth on whether I wanted to keep the petals for the lillies white or shade them in with pink eyeshadow but I think I’m going to leave them white for now. I really like it. I’m also going to try and bedazzle the vase when the supplies get here. This bouquet is a birthday present for someone very special. 💝

I am still working on some other flowers, I’ve been trying to finish some blue carnations for awhile. Carnations are definitely one of the more time consuming flowers. I am really hoping to have those finished by the end of this weekend so I can give them to the intended person.
