Found a few treasures, but honestly the view stole the show. ✨🌊

Beach roses, a lighthouse, and a summer evening. New England doesn’t get much better than this. 🌸⚓️

Looking for sea glass in Maine? These coves are worth exploring for beachcombers who love a good hunt, stunning coastal views, and a little adventure along the shoreline. As always, conditions change with every storm and tide, so your best finds might be waiting where you least expect them.

If you’ve ever heard beachcombers talking about “negative low tides,” this is what they mean.

A negative low tide occurs when the water drops below the average low tide level, exposing parts of the shoreline that are usually underwater. For beachcombers, that means more beach to explore and a better chance of finding sea glass, shells, and other ocean treasures.

One of the tools I use to keep track of tides is the Tide Alert app. It’s a simple way to check upcoming low tides and spot those extra-low negative tides before heading out.

Always check local tide conditions and be mindful of the incoming tide while exploring.

See you at low tide. 🌊

Heading to Dubois Beach today 🌊 One of my favorite places to wander because there are always treasures waiting if you slow down and really look.

And yes - it’s completely public. Just a reminder that sharing spaces means respecting them too. Pack out your trash, respect homeowners and wildlife, don’t block access points, and leave the beach better than you found it so everyone can keep enjoying these beautiful places 🐚

I’ve been seeing some comments about sharing beaches lately and I just want to say this 🌊

I go back to the beaches I share.

They’re not suddenly packed. Usually there’s maybe one or two other people out enjoying the shoreline.

I share because I want people to get outside, explore New England, appreciate the coast, and maybe find a little excitement in the search.

The ocean isn’t mine. The beach isn’t mine. I’m not going to stop sharing.

Just be respectful, leave beaches better than you found them, and enjoy the adventure 🐚
