THANK YOU 🙏
This past weekend at Bold Point Park was truly something special. Our first RIDOP Noite Branca came to life in a way that exceeded every hope we had, and it’s because of you. Everyone who showed up, supported, volunteered, performed, worked, and believed in this event… my heart is full. Thank you for making our first Noite Branca unforgettable.
To Mayor Bob DaSilva, thank you sincerely for welcoming us into Bold Point Park and trusting us with this space. To the incredible City of East Providence staff, Dan B and his Parks team, Joe, Joe, and Mario, your hard work, care, and pride in what you do showed in every detail. To EPPD and EPFD, thank you for keeping our community safe throughout the night. And to our Bold Point neighbors thank you.
Tockwotton, thank you for generously supporting our parking needs.
A very heartfelt thank you to Melissa Martin from RI Waterfront Events. Your guidance, insight, and steady support meant more than you know. And to your provided parking team Saul, Manny, and Sam you were essential to keeping everything running smoothly. We appreciate you.
To our volunteers John F, Tony, and Brian, thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your heart.
To Josh from St. Anthony’s Church and Armando from the Teófilo Braga Club, thank you for providing our cocktail and serving tables. Your support helped bring the atmosphere and experience we envisioned to life.
To our entertainment, Marintho Batista, Banda Nova Moda, and John B, Nate, Nelson, Carlos, and the entire Underground Sound crew, you brought the soul, the rhythm, and the magic. You made the night shine.
To our vendors: Chris & Nelly (Brands of Portugal), Phil & Meghan (Narragansett), Sagres Beer (Mancini), Mike M (Rhody Food Trucks), Casa Tia Rosa, Atomic Blonde, and Rich B (Onsite) thank you for bringing your flavors, your passion, and your presence to Noite Branca.
To Ruben, Nick, and the Gonsalves team, thank you for keeping all our inventory cold and ready throughout the event. Your help behind the scenes made a huge difference, and we are truly grateful.
And to the RIDOP 2026 supporting members, but most of all, my committee, you sacrificed your time on a beautiful 80‑degree day (Thank you G.O.D.) to make this event happen. Thank you Kerry, Cesar, Sandra, Ana, MJ, Christine. To my committee and volunteers, John F, Brian & Tony none of this is possible without you. I am grateful for each one of you.
This is only the beginning as we plan for our second Noite Branca.
ALSO SAVE THE DATE: Dia de Portugal Celebrations, June 5 & 6, 2027 RIDOP celebrates its 50th Anniversary, honoring our culture, our community, and our shared history.
Thank you, East Providence. Thank you to our Portuguese community. Thank you to everyone who believes in RIDOP. Let’s continue building something beautiful together.
Truly grateful,
