Louis Wain room portrait- this projectā€™s from last yearā€™s 3D illustration (itā€™s been a whileee). Wain was a cat lover known for his illustrations of them, which became weirder and weirder as his mental health spiralled in his last years. I wanted to show that progression with a ball of yarn, which keeps unravelling, eventually overtaking the house as you go down.

Window Shopping- a bunch of residents in an apartment complex are always sneaking glances into their neighbours rooms. They donā€™t realize that just as they pry into someone elseā€™s window, thereā€™s another doing the same to them. I imagine the expressions on their faces to be something of envy as they fall into this endless cycle.

Each zine in this edition is drawn in photoshop, riso printed, then hand cut and assembled! A bonus little tidbit is that the backside unfolds into the exterior of the apartment building, and looks like illuminated windows when you hold it up to a light. šŸ’”
