Hello—if you’re new here, my name is Matty.
I’ve spent the last 25 years at Torrid Tattoos simply tattooing at rates the average person can afford. I’ve never cared to be trendy on social media, and I’ve never been flashy with gimmicks or promotions.
I’ve always just kept my head down and done the best work I can. I’ve never been rich, and I never tried to be off tattooing.
I just genuinely love what I do. I’ve always put my clients before ego and max profits, and I’ve always been happy just keeping the bills paid.
So with that said—if you’re looking for glitz and glam, TikTok dancing, clever social media content, or a wizard on an iPad… I’m probably not your guy.
I’ve been creating custom tattoo designs from my clients’ ideas for 30 years using good old pencil and paper, and that’s not going to change.
If you’re new here and just looking for a solid tattoo without taking out a second mortgage to afford it, I may be more affordable than you think. I haven’t raised my rates in 25 years. That said, I do prefer appointments—drawing the old way takes time.
To my existing clients who already appreciate my work and pricing—this time of year is always slow. Soo If you’ve got work that needs finishing, or something new you’ve been wanting, now’s a good time. Bills don't stop needing paid to keep ole Matty here tattooing! so I need to keep the schedule flowing.
