Fall Kill Creative Works MHHC celebrates all who have settled the Mid-Hudson region by promoting a better awareness and appreciation of the history and heritage of the region.

Fall Kill Creative Works is a nonprofit community studio that provides high-quality educational programming and a rich studio environment in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York.

It’s been a big year at Fall Kill! So many new faces have joined us, old friends have found their way back & there’s so much momentum building in the studio. Can’t make it to the Benefit Party? Consider making a donation to support the studio and help us keep this momentum going.

This year alone We’ve offered more than 90 classes and workshops, welcomed more than 800 people and provided more than $7,000 in tuition assistance.

Every class taught, every skill shared, every tradition passed on & every opportunity to create together helps us grow a studio where creativity, learning & community can thrive.

Every ticket purchased, every piece of art donated, every contribution made & every time you spread the word helps us build a more inclusive, accessible & connected community.

We couldn’t do this work without you. We can’t wait to get everyone together to celebrate what we’re building, catch up, and raise a glass to what’s ahead!

A weekend well spent! We had so much fun learning to sew with Pia. Picking out fabric, cutting patterns, getting comfy with the sewing machine, and making our own pajama pants.

Quilting 101 on Oct 31 is already sold out (!!) and there are two spots left in Quilt Coats. We’re planning lots more sewing classes for the new year. Stay tuned! 🪡🧵

✨INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT!✨ Introducing the incredibly talented Kady Underwood!

Kady has been with Fall Kill Creative Works for three years. First as a studio assistant, and now a first year linoleum block printing teacher. Kady has her BFA in illustration and is at her core, a painter. But she also creates art through many different avenues such as block printing and ceramics.

We are so lucky to have her skillset on our team! Check out her upcoming classes and workshops on our website. We’re looking forward to calendar making and wrapping paper printing!

Make your own hand-printed calendar! ✨

Join Kady Underwood for four weeks of carving, printing, experimenting, and making at the historic Glebe House. You’ll build on your lino skills while exploring color, registration, edition printing, and ways to bring a whole calendar together as one cohesive project.

A good fit if you’ve already got some lino carving + printing under your belt and want to take it a little further.

Whether it’s your first time at the wheel or your fiftieth, this is a relaxed, judgment-free workshop for all levels.
