Laughter really is the best medicine—even when the fight is serious. 🫁💜

Today is National Sarcoidosis Awareness Day, a time to shine a light on a rare, invisible inflammatory disease that affects thousands. For our founder, Dan Keota, this fight is deeply personal. Living with severe pulmonary sarcoidosis, Dan has faced collapsed lungs and is currently on the list for a double lung transplant.

But instead of backing down, he chose to fight back with humor by founding Die Laughing. We use comedy to bring people together, spread vital awareness, and raise funds for institutions like Penn Medicine that are actively working to save lives.

You can help us find a cure. Wear purple, share this post, and let’s keep making noise—and telling jokes—until we beat sarcoidosis for good!
