This is our WHY. I work with many people from a different generation. They do not quite understand why we do this. Why we spend so much time cleaning and caring for a bunch of smelly weasels. Why on earth we would spend this kind of money on food and vet bills.
I have always been an animal lover. Cats were my thing. When I met hoagie (our very first slinky), my world changed. Learning about their issues and understanding their complications has become my passion. Keeping them alive is my purpose. Paninie most likely would not be here if we weren't caring for him.
Having this auction will help us keep up with all the noodles and give us some financial freedom and some stress relief. We love what we do, and we're pretty good at it. Having an army behind us will only help 🥰

Nestled in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Pass the Cabbage Ferret Sanctuary (PTCFS) is currently home to 32 wonderful ferrets—each with a unique personality and a story of starting over. Every ferret in our care came from a situation where their previous home could no longer give them the life they deserved. At PTCFS, we give them a soft place to land, dedicated care, and a second chance at joy.
Providing a safe haven for these resilient little creatures is a labor of love, but it is also a costly one. From specialized veterinary care and medications to basic daily needs like nutritious food, soft bedding, warm hammocks, and cleaning supplies, the expense of running the sanctuary adds up quickly.
That is where this auction comes in. Every bid you place directly supports our daily operations, helping us cover essential costs and invest in the long-term health and happiness of our 32 residents. Thank you for opening your heart and supporting our mission—we couldn't do this without you!
