We loved spending time with the Bowie State University Cheer Team at our Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival Cheer Clinic and are grateful for their continued support year after year.
These talented athletes have been a part of our parade tradition since the very first Festival❤️

This was not an easy decision for me to make, but in light of the difficult week our Montgomery County Government and MCPS community have been navigating around ongoing budget conversations and decisions, I believe it is important to honor everyone’s time, energy, and mental capacity by postponing today's press conference.
This moment calls for grace, focus, and thoughtfulness from all of us.

The Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival Family Carnival at Cabin John Park (11AM–5PM) is a day full of excitement, creativity, and unforgettable memories! Enjoy rides, games, live performances, hands-on activities, and The Juneteenth Parade at 2PM! When everything cools down head over to Shirley Povich Field for community dinner and to step back in time and celebrate a cherished local tradition, The Clarence "Pint" Isreal Baseball Classic by Bethesda Big Train Baseball
