The Pleasure Guild’s September business meeting was held in the Volunteer Office this afternoon, and what a wonderful time we had.

We are so thankful to have our office located right here in the main hospital, as it makes gathering so much easier for our volunteers - and judging by the smiles, I think they enjoy our space just as much as we do!

A little business, a little pizza, plenty of conversation and laughter…and a room full of some pretty special people. That’s a good afternoon in Volunteer Services 🖤.

Gearing up for Monday Morning Waffles at the Volunteer Café & Grill 🧇🥓

We’re celebrating National Waffle Day with our volunteers on Monday, August 24, from 8:30–10:30 a.m. and the waffle iron will be ready‼️

Simply stop by the Volunteer Office (Main Hospital A1044) and enjoy a warm, golden homemade waffle with a side of bacon, served up with plenty of appreciation for all that you do🖤. Because around here, we think the best way to say “thank you” just might come with butter, syrup…and bacon 🧇🥓🍁…

Was it slightly ridiculous to leave work before 7:30 a.m., cross state lines, drive 45 minutes in the pouring rain, and come back with boxes of donuts?

Maybe 😅

But when you discover a new donut shop that sells out every day, AND you have volunteers who deserve a surprise…sometimes you do what needs to be done 😂🍩.

Besides, WE DONUT NEED A REASON‼️

The best reason for donuts is simply because our volunteers deserve them 🖤. And today we officially proved there are apparently no state lines - or rainstorms - between us and volunteer appreciation 😂🌧️🚙🍩.
