We practice again tomorrow (Sunday)! Join us at Irving Park's basketball courts, just in from 7th & NE Fremont in Portland, between 12 and 2. We'll be outdoors, with a covered dance space. All are welcome! We learn the dance in full at each practice.

Zombies are coming to Portland, but they’re far from the walking dead.

These zombies are full of lively dance moves.

Returning to Irving Park, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, is the 19th annual Thrill the World Portland dance takeover, transforming the park into a dance floor for zombies to shuffle, slide and crawl their way around to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Cities across the globe will follow the infamous choreography in unison.

We're back! The funk of 40,000 years. The 19th Annual Thrill the World Portland returns as part of a worldwide, simultaneous Thriller dance (original choreography by Michael Peters; remixed choreography by Ines Markeljevic). It’s our 19th year dancing, making Portland’s zombie squad the longest-running Thrill the World event in the solar system:

⏰ 3:00 p.m.
📍 Irving Park, NE Portland
🖤 Everyone is welcome. More than just a flash mob, Thrill the World Portland has long raised awareness and funds for various local nonprofits over the years. Donations will benefit this year's charity, the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO).

Open to the public, dance practices will kick off every Saturday starting on September 27. See you soon, zombies!
