There are a lot of new faces around here, so this felt like a good time to share a little more about how GINGA started.

What began as something very personal slowly grew, event by event, gathering by gathering, into something much bigger than I imagined at the beginning.

And now GINGA is changing again.

There’s a new identity, new projects, and new ways of creating experiences… but before we show you everything that’s coming next, we wanted to go back for a moment and share how we got here.

We didn’t just introduce the new GINGA. We built it together.

Piece by piece, surrounded by flowers, Brazilian flavors, stories, and so many creative hands, a new chapter came to life.

Meet the New GINGA was a one-time experience, but what we created that morning will continue with us: a community coming together, Brazilian memories becoming art, and a new vision for everything GINGA can be.

Thank you to everyone who came, created, shared, and became part of this beginning.

Hi, everyone.

Today, instead of writing a caption, I wanted to write you an invitation.

GINGA was born from a desire to connect and to belong. When I moved to Portland, I found myself missing the warmth of Brazilian energy… the feeling of home that our culture carries so naturally.

So I created GINGA to share that feeling with others.

In just ten months, we’ve met incredible people, heard beautiful stories, and built a community I could have only dreamed of. Together, we’ve brought a little bit of Brazil’s warmth to a city known for its rain.

Now, I feel we’re ready for the next chapter.

And I’d love for you to be part of it.

On August 2, I’d like to invite you to meet the new GINGA, and, more importantly, to help build this next chapter with me.

Because, in the end, GINGA was never just mine.

It has always belonged to the people who believed in it, showed up, danced, laughed, and made it what it is today.

We’re keeping this gathering intentionally small, so spots are limited.
