You may recognize Seattle designer Gustavo Apiti.

This weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating Gustavo’s independent runway show and reflecting on the remarkable journey that brought him here.

Years ago, Gustavo showcased his collections on the FashioNXT runway, with NBA star CJMcCollum modeling his designs. Even then, his talent, vision, and dedication to his craft were impossible to ignore.

Today, he has become one of the Pacific Northwest’s most respected designers, building a brand and audience entirely his own. Watching that growth firsthand has been incredibly rewarding.

At FashioNXT, one of the greatest honors is seeing designers continue to evolve long after they leave our runway. Gustavo’s success is a testament to years of hard work, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to his creative vision.

Congratulations, Gustavo. We’re proud of you and grateful to have been part of the journey.
